What options are there for attaching balustrade posts (for glass) to parapet. Council regs state nothing to penetrate the flashing so can only think of either side attached ali/ss posts or 100x100 timber posts when I build the parapet and use clamps for glass.

May be best to talk with your council over this issue as the NZBC code does not cover this an an acceptable solution, therefore you are relying on the glass supplier to have his own fixing methods tested and approved, and the council approving it as an al
